“… We are also trying to give concrete answers to this request, trying to give a service to life which could ensure loving care for unaccompanied children, vulnerable adolescents who are abandoned due to social, economic and familiar reasons which are no longer bearable. We really want to avoid the recourse to institutions as we believe that every child has the right to a loving environment where he/she can develop and grow in an integral and healthy way.
As congregation we deeply believe that every life is worth the blood of Christ. This is why we commit through the experience of family homes and collaboration with foster families, so that these adolescents can re-enter the social context, trying to overcome the deep wound which often marked in an indelible way their story as human beings.”
