Covid19 and Human Trafficking: challenges and hopes
“Lockdown has been affecting the work of Talitha Kum against Human Trafficking, at the regional and local levels. What we are observing is the increasing of vulnerability of women and men, a high number of them lost their job: this is where recruiters find very easy to increase their business of trafficking. During the pandemic, violence against women and children in domestic context has grown up.
