International Day of Human Fraternity: Sr Jolanta Kafka’s message
Here we are, as sisters, weaving bonds of care and friendship.
Neither tears nor smiles have a color, they are just an expression of our humanity that can bring us closer, and allow us to get in touch with one another and from that something else emerges: THE ENCOUNTER… and thus begins a small step towards dialogue and love.
“Our love for others, for who they are, moves us to seek the best for their lives. Only by cultivating this way of relating to one another will we make possible a social friendship that excludes no one and a fraternity that is open to all.” (FT 94)
“Lord, Father of our human family (…) pour forth into our hearts a fraternal spirit and inspire in us a dream of renewed encounter, dialogue, justice and peace.” (FT, A Prayer to the Creator)
