Russell Berrie Fellowship in Interreligious Studies
“ There is no doubt that the Russell Berrie Fellowship has had an impact on my life, both personal and professional. I see dialogue as a way of being and living, as a method, rather than just a theory of teachings and books.” —Fr. Cyrille Uwizeye, Cohort IV, Rwanda
The Russell Berrie Foundation is pleased to announce the eleventh cycle of applications for postgraduate fellowships for studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the “Angelicum.”
The goal of the Fellowship Program is to build bridges between Christian, Jewish and other religious traditions by providing the next generation of religious leaders with a comprehensive understanding and dedication to interfaith issues.
Russell Berrie Fellows are expected to complete their studies and return home to their parishes and communities to lead others in efforts to promote interfaith understanding.
The Fellowship, granted for one year, targets priests, women religious, and members of the lay community to allow them to study at the Angelicum
either for a Diploma in Interreligious Studies or a Licence Degree.
Applicants from around the world and of different faiths who have a demonstrated interest in Interreligious Studies are encouraged to apply.
